Here is a list of garden tours and events in our area. If anyone is interested in coordinating trips to these tours, please add a comment or start a new wiki page for that event!

Garden Club Members' Tour - We will be having our Members' Tour on Saturday, August 1. Any interested Garden Club members should meet at Dottie Bock's house at 9 a.m. Jean Taylor has lined up several great gardens for us to wander through.

Secret Gardens of Laramie Tour - You can find out more information about the Garden Club's sixth annual tour on July 18 here.

Laramie Vegetable Garden Tour Series - The Laramie Local Food group is organizing a series of tours of veggie gardens. The second veggie garden tour will be on Saturday, August 8 (here is a flyer about the tour). The tour includes three gardens and runs from 8:30 to 11:30. Meet at 312 E. Ord St. at 8:30 a.m. for the first garden and bike, carpool or drive to the other two. The second stop is at the garden of Garden Club members Marci Newell and Tom Wiersema. A map will be available at the first garden.

Cheyenne Botanic Gardens - The CBG will have a series of talks about gardening and the botanic gardens. The talk on August 22 (at 9:30 a.m.) is titled "An Insider's Tour of the Botanic Gardens Grounds". This might make a good field trip for Garden Club members. The 27th Annual Terrace and Garden Tour - This tour, put on by the Junior League of Fort Collins, is on June 20th. More information can be found here.

Other regional botanical gardens that would offer opportunities for Garden Club outings this summer are the Yampa River Botanical Park in Steamboat Springs, CO and the Denver Botanic Gardens.
